dpa has bureaux and correspondents in more than 90 countries along with editorial departments for its international service in Spanish in Madrid and Buenos Aires, for its international services in English in Cork, Washington and Bangkok and for its Arabic service in Cairo.

The dpa European Service sends out between 450 and 500 news items a day in German. Subscribers currently include newspapers, radio and television stations as well as agencies in 31 countries, mainly in Europe but also in Asia, Africa and North America. The European editorial departments can draw on the entire output of all dpa's correspondents in Germany and abroad.

The international service in English supplies 250 to 300 news items daily, the Spanish service some 280 items per day to customers in Latin America and on the Iberian Peninsula. The Arabic service comprises around 220 news items a day. Illustrated feature services in English and Spanish are also offered by dpa.
