dpa is the only German news agency supplying a news service covering the complete spectrum of international and national affairs with full coverage of political, economic,
scientific, cultural and general affairs and sport. The agency also has 12 German regional services.

Virtually every newspaper in Germany is a customer of dpa and all the country’s national television stations which broadcast national news take the main German language
service “dpa-Basisdienst”. Almost all the regional radio stations in the country take this service too.

Numerous other products are available to suit particular customer requirements such as the spot news service and radio news service. The gms feature service supplies consumer news items and feature material for newspaper supplements and pullouts as well as to
radio and television stations. The texts are illustrated with a wide selection of photographs.

dpa-infocom, a 100-per-cent subsidiary of dpa, produces tailormade services for a wide variety of online portals while the dpa/RUFA radio news department supplies readymade
broadcasting material drawing on dpa’s extensive foreign correspondent network. Hourly packages of “ready-to-read” news material for radio stations and online portals are also among the services provided.
